My Story.

There should be a picture of me here but…

There isn’t.

What I’m up to “lately”

lets see how current I can keep this. I didn’t.

Spoiled myself with some watercolor paints for my birthday this year.

Absolutely loving these paints and they turned up in time for Christmas so I got to play around with some bells and baubles, the grey is supposed to be tinsel but I’m feeling like I’ll need to ruin a bit more paper in order to get that looking shiny

Making the Sky weep..

In memory of Jodi & Susan.

This one tore me up a bit,

Recently our small community lost a lovely lady who was good. I had no words for her sister who was coming into work the following week with a brave face and cheer for everyone else while she must have been breaking somewhere inside.

When I lost Daniel everyone kept saying sorry sorry and it just felt so inadequate and we all knew it but I just couldn’t bring myself to say that to her, so I did the thing I do know how to do and painted what I wanted to share. As usual it just wouldn’t happen the way it needed to be, so after 2 failed attempts, I painted a personal experience with a beloved friend who passed suddenly a few years ago.

The final painting was finished quickly and rough, but it did what I needed it to do and spoke for me.
